My oldest leaves for camp TODAY (!!), so we spent this week getting her ready and spending time together before she leaves. I’m so excited for her. If you’re in the same boat, I hope your kids have the best time!!
I’m sending her off with lots of cupcakes—it’s the best way to make new friends (no-nut flavors, of course). I love to send them to new college students, too, for the same reason.
As you head off on summer adventures, below are my favorite packable snacks—great for taking camping, sailing, to the beach, or snacking on at home. Whatever your summer plans are, there’s a snack for that. The salads I shared on Wednesday are also great packable options!
My favorite kid summer buys are linked here, from bathing suits to sunscreen to bug spray.
If you’re traveling, here’s what I like to take with me (including the $28 bag I love).
I just bought a ton of these tank tops from Amazon. They’re great for summer and come in so many colors.
If you’re new around here, make sure to check out my list of kitchen staples and get your printable dressing recipes—perfect for sticking on your fridge!
I love this grab-and-go snack to throw in my kids’ bags before we leave for a road trip. It’s also a great way to use up the last of the nuts and seeds before you go.
Pair with sandwiches for the perfect picnic spread. (If you like this, make this one, too.)
Refreshing and fits perfectly in a deli container! Add it to anything you have on the menu—you’ll be craving something like this on a hot day.
Pro-tip: Store them in the freezer so they’re cold when you leave. They’re great eaten cold or at room temp.
Perfect for movie nights with the whole fam or taking with you on your road trip.
