You can use whatever moisturizer you want, but eating food filled with nutrients will make your skin glow. People often ask me for my skincare tips (and I’ll share my favorites below), but eating nourishing ingredients is a huge part of it too. Condiment salads are a great way to add these nutrients to any meal—use them to top burgers, sandwiches, bowls, or even yogurt. These recipes are packed with flavor, make you look great, and best of all, make you feel great, too.
My oldest’s camp trunk is finally out of our apartment!! If you’re still shopping for camp or need any other summer staples, here’s my list.

Carrot Salad
I saw someone make this on Instagram and knew I had to make it immediately. It’s so easy and Adi and I ate it all up. I made it once with garlic and white vinegar, and again with garlic powder and rice vinegar. I prefer the latter, but both are delicious.
3 large carrots, peeled into ribbons
Juice of 1 lemon
1 garlic clove, grated (optional)
1 tablespoon tamari
2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon white vinegar or rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
1 teaspoon furikake
Peel the exterior off the carrots then peel into ribbons.
In a large bowl, combine the lemon juice, garlic, tamari, sesame oil, salt, garlic powder, vinegar, sesame seeds, and furikake.
Add the carrot ribbons to the bowl and toss to combine. Serve immediately as a side, with burgers, or add it to a bowl.
