My little one is obsessed with Nutella, so in my quest to have fun activities with her all summer long, we decided to make Nutella ice cream. I used sweetened condensed milk and was surprised how easy it was. The condensed milk improved the overall consistency and flavor (plus, it didn’t require an ice cream maker!).
We made a Nutella ice cream base with crumbled up Oreos, swirls of more Nutella, and graham cracker pieces. It was so good I had to be told when to stop eating it. I’ve been using the same base to make other flavors, one of which I’m sharing below—along with a few other delicious ice cream recipes for the end of summer. Grab your spoons!!
I don’t believe in buying appliances that aren’t necessary, but if you love ice cream, the Ninja Creami is GREAT. Highly recommend.
I got spice jars like these on a HomeGoods run the other day and transferred all my spices into them. Part of my kitchen organization!! (The ones I use most are on this OXO turntable for easy access.)
I just got a new pair of ASICS—I’ve been loving ASICS for my morning walks for the past few months.
My trainer makes great electrolytes that I drink every day. It helps me drink more water!! (Use code MELISSA15 for 15% off).
My wagon has been so useful for all our summer activities, especially going to the beach.
I’ve been eating my feelings (and this ice cream) as I wait for my oldest to come home from camp. (SHE’S BACK!!!)
One of my most popular recipes from last summer! I unlocked it so you can make it (and the maple tahini caramel) if you haven’t already. YUM.
A delicious way to eat s’mores without a campfire (or any heat at all).
Such a fun activity to make with kids on a hot summer day.
Hi Melissa - I can't find the Nutella ice cream recipe which looks amazing, can you help?
