We’re only one week into January and this week felt like forever. Getting back into the swing of things after the holidays is hard! I hope you’re all taking care of yourselves.
Today’s my birthday so to celebrate, we’re going to breakfast, then Adi and I have date night planned at a restaurant I’ve been wanting to try. And I’m sharing all of my favorite recipes with you! Some are new, some are old, and all are making regular appearances in my kitchen.
Have you started cooking from the meal plan I sent out on Wednesday? Tell me what you think!
I went to an event to celebrate the launch of Gabby Bernstein’s new book this week and can’t wait to dive in—her insights helped me so much when I started Baked by Melissa.
If you’re looking for more reading inspo, I love The Many Lives of Mama Love (recommended by all my friends) and Daring Greatly. It’s a powerful way to start the year.
My girls love this Lego set. It’s a great activity for them to follow directions and be creative.
Baked by Melissa is offering 11% off sitewide today with code MELISSASBDAY at checkout. Use it to get my fave Valentine’s Day flavors!
I’ll be making this on repeat. It’s a great simple slaw for a side or a condiment.
A variation of this recipe was in Wednesday’s meal plan. It’s one of my current faves for WFH lunch.
I’ve been making a version of this every week. It is SO GOOD, especially in colder months.
An oldie but goodie. Make it during the weekend and stuff it into pitas with cottage cheese or add to bowls throughout the week. (This was my lunch the other day.)
Happy birthday! And it’s official- you’ve gotten me to enjoy cooking for my family again!! 🫶🏽
Happy birthday!
