It’s the first full week of school and one of my kids has already spent two days at home, sick.
There’s nothing more important than your health, so I’m always working on recipes and little things I can do to keep myself and my family healthy. When one of us isn’t feeling well, it makes an already challenging daily routine impossible.
My latest obsession is a fruit-and-veggie-packed homemade juice (recipe below), which I’ve been making every day that I work from home. Today I added a beet and it looked so beautiful. My skin is glowing, too.
Here are some of my favorite recipes to keep your immunity in check not only in winter, but all year long.
Healing Chicken Soup
Golden Chicken & Rice
Green Goddess Angel Hair with Veggies
BONUS! Orange Juice + Pulp Cake
Healing Chicken Soup
One of my favorite soup recipes. This is like classic chicken soup’s older sister, with lots of veggies, citrus, and ginger.
Golden Chicken & Rice
Just like the One-Pot Chicken & Mushrooms and Spring Chicken recipes, this is an easy, delicious weeknight meal. This one is packed with good-for-you ingredients, like anti-inflammatory turmeric and ginger.
Green Goddess Angel Hair with Veggies
I’ve been making a ton of broccoli lately to give my girls lots of nutrients. (Here’s another easy dinner we have on repeat right now!) This one is so easy, and you can use frozen veggies to make it even faster. A weeknight win!
Bonus! Orange Juice & Pulp Cake

If you’ve ever wondered what to make with juice pulp, here’s your answer. I wouldn’t normally tell you to make juice just to make a cake, but this is an exception.
Hi Melissa! I’m not finding the recipe for the healing juice.. am I missing it?
